Dr. Prem Yohannan is an orthopedic surgeon and clinical professor at UEM, with extensive experience in trauma, medical education, and surgery in low-income countries. Educated in India, he has been working in Mozambique since the 2000s, where he has held leadership roles at MISAU and international colleges.
In the business sector, his particular interest is “social advancement driven by local private investments”.
Internationally recognized, he received the International Surgical Education Scholar Award for 2018 and serves as a trainer, examiner, and member of several scientific boards. Outside of medicine and industry, he is dedicated to music, sports, and adventure activities such as skydiving and SCUBA diving.
